We may have seen Jack Bauer killing terrorist in the series “24″. He may have spent his life at a chinese prison in the series “24″ , can you imagine him spending some time in prison in real life? That’s hard to believe for many but its true. Jack Bauer was arrested due to DUI(Driving under the influence of alcohol). He was handed the sentence after he was caught driving under the influence in September 2007. He spent his days in prison during Dec 2007 after 24 writers staged a strike . He however was treated as an ordinary inmate and was not given any special treatment. Hard times as they say, Kiefer had to spend his birthday, Christmas and New year in prison in the year 2007. But the jail experience for 45 days did make him learn a lot,he says “My drinking was not a daily thing, so it wasn’t an issue. And, oddly enough, neither was the smoking. I was very glad to know that I could quit. And one day soon I will.”
The 24 star revealed that some good did come out his jail term - he can now trust himself to overcome unhealthy habits.But there are hard times though in the prison. He had to compromise his privacy during his 45 day jail term. He says “The lights never go out, 24/7. You can’t cover anything. You can’t even put your head under a blanket. All the cells have cameras in them”.Hard times too exist!!! Lets hope that Jack Bauer can rejoice himself after Season 7 is successfully out. All the Best Jack!!!
